Well Monitoring
Brown Soil & Water Conservation District participates in a well monitoring program where irrigation and observation wells are monitored. The district reads four irrigation wells twice a year, in April and October, and reads eleven observation wells on a quarterly basis. Information from these readings is used to predict events such as drought and flooding.
